Family Pie - reheat instructions

Family Beef and Chicken Pies


Pies come already baked so just need reheating to serve. The generous size of the pie and ratio of meat to gravy/pastry mean they take a little longer than you may think to get to optimum serving temperature.

We recommend sides of mashed potato and peas (or salad) that can be prepared once the pie is in the oven

Total heating time 45 mins

 

  • Preheat oven 150 degrees
  • Put fresh or completely defrosted pie in oven for 30 mins
  • Increase oven temp to 200 degrees
  • Heat pie for remaining 15 mins or until the top 'pops' up and pastry turns golden brown
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 5 mins before slicing to serve
